Marina Astitha
Civil and Environmental Engineering Department
Research Interests: Marina Astitha leads the Atmospheric Modeling and Air Quality Group (AirMG) at the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Connecticut. The AirMG website provides information about scientific research and educational news related to atmospheric sciences with a focus on atmospheric modeling systems. Marina Astitha’s interests include aerosol-cloud-radiation interactions in regional and global scale, anthropogenic influences to extreme weather events, cloud microphysics and precipitation uncertainties, and improving/developing physical processes in atmospheric and air quality models.
